On Monday, Dec. 4, the girls’ soccer team hosts Columbia with junior varsity playing at 5 p.m. and varsity playing at 7 p.m

The team has already played Columbia this season. The junior varsity won 9-1 and varsity won 3-0.

“I am very excited,” freshman JV player Anna McGibany said. “It should be a fun time to really develop our team. Based on the last game I think we have a good chance of winning, but don’t take that mindset in.”

The team has been working on set plays, passing and working together, which is something they will take into the game tonight.

Sophomore varsity player Addison Dudley is also excited for the game and thinks the team has a good chance of winning.

“We’ve been working on possession and making sure the ball isn’t passed to the other team which we can use in the game tonight,” Dudley said.

So far, both the JV and varsity teams are undefeated.

On Wednesday, Dec. 6, the girls host Lincoln. This is their second time playing Lincoln and the girls are hoping to once again emerge with a win.
